FACTUAL FAST TRACK

WALES AND WEST

A development programme to accelerate the careers of unscripted producers through paid placements, commissioning insight, training and commissioning and industry mentoring

Factual Fast Track is a four nations reputation-building career development programme that fast tracks established, ambitious producers to create business winners for the nations and regions.

This unique scheme provides networking opportunities to raise profiles, training sessions to extend skills, and industry and commissioning mentoring to build the confidence of the best producers, producer/directors, series producers, executive producers and development producers. At its heart is an industry placement in a stretch role that will develop the Fast Tracker’s career and elevate their CV.

Everyone with the relevant experience is welcome to apply. Our ambition is to create a diverse Fast Track cohort. We want to improve representation of ethnic diversity, disability and socio-economic backgrounds and have broadened the range of experience required to apply for the scheme. For the Welsh scheme, the ability to speak Welsh is not mandatory but two places will be ring-fenced for fluent Welsh speakers with excellent language communication skills and who are committed to working bilingually.

Factual Fast Track runs annually in Wales and the West of England to ensure unscripted production continues to go from strength to strength.
